**Q: What are the exact measurements of this hood?**
A: Those are wrong measurements. Its really over 11 1/4" wide and did not fit my 55gal because of these fulse measurements. Had to shave plastic off the front and back of cover for it to sit on inner rim. If you have a 48" x 12.5" aquarium these will not fit.

**Q: I have a standard 28 gal tank.  Would this lid fit the inside lip?**
A: If your tank measures 2'  long by 1' wide then it should fit.

**Q: Can I grow live plants with these lights**
A: I have a few!!They are growing nicely!

**Q: how many bulbs in it?**
A: it has 1 bulb. has worked fine for me. have it on over 12 hours a day. good luck.
