Perfect for backpacking in cold weather
Awesome pants. Warm and compresses well. Pants were able to fit into 2L size sack (just barely). I bought a medium and I'm 6' 0", 195lbs. Pants fit perfectly without needing to cinch drawstring. They could still expand 3-4 more inches on top of that. Weight is around 1.2lbs. Material is thick and windproof. It does not feel flimsy or thin at all.I'm going to use them for base camp pants in sub freezing weather and for sleeping. If you add a thermal base layer underneath you could easily go into negative temps no problem.

Very warm. Buy a size or two larger
I like this. It's well made and warm but not very packable. The description says that it's down but a vendor answer to the insulation question says that it's basically not down. If I use a stuff sack with compression straps I can get the pants down into a smaller mass but then it's a pretty hard mass. If it is down, the liner and shell are very down-proof as I haven't seen any "pokers".I don't know if I got some of the older, skinnier versions but I'm glad I ordered the XL instead of a Medium or a Large (I think the label says "XXL").I'm 5'2" 175# and built more like a fireplug and the XL fit me well... almost snug but not uncomfortably snug. I wore it with breathable (PolarMax warm) tights underneath and as soon as I put the down pants on I felt the warmth. I put a shell on over it to keep it clean so I don't know how these do in the wind but as an under layer that I'm not going hiking with, I'm very happy with it.===>>> Update 12/27/2018: I've used these pants fairly often, trading off with a similar pair of pants. I still really like the pockets and when I'm outside I usually wear a shell that doesn't have pockets so that works out well. I'm static alot (not moving very much) so when I'm not moving, these pants are good to about the low 50's F. When I do move around I generate alot of heat so these have been more than fine for the low 40's when moving. If the temp. gets above 60 I tend to overheat so I try to slow down then...indoors these pants rock.===>>>I have noticed that I probably need to get a more loose shell for wearing with these pants because my shell tends to compress the areas around my thighs, reducing the loft. That said, especially if I pull the cuffs a little too high, the area around my calves tends to have almost no insulation because my calves fill the pants too much (did I already say that I'm built like a fireplug?). If I were to order another pair I'd probably go up one more size. The cuffs are elastic enough that I don't worry about the pant hem hanging too low.I wish the description listed the fill power.I would still get it but I know I'd eventually need to get a higher fill power. I got these down pants because of the lower cost so I could get some insulated running shoes. The other down pants I was looking at probably packed down smaller but they take 1 to 3 months to make and deliver.I like the 3 pockets. Did I already say that I like pockets? I'm 50/50 about whether I like the snap on the back pocket. I thought it'd bug me but after wearing the pants overnight, it hasn't bothered me yet and the snap is easy to open and close.

Runs very small for men's pants! But they're warm.
I bought these to wear in Fairbanks in March to watch the Northern lights, under Gore-tex ski pants. They are great, but run very small! I am 5'7", 140lbs and the small was a little too short and a little tight in the waist, esp since I may wear thermals under them. So I'm returning the small and getting the medium. They seem really good though, warm but not too bulky. Plus they're very compressible; good for packing.

Great value! They are not as light as the more expensive down pants, but they are less than half the price. The legs are a big narrow, so if you're on the cusp, go with the larger size. I ordered a small for my friend and they were just a bit too tight in the legs for him. I contacted the seller, who immediately provided me with a medium. GREAT customer service! The smalls fit me (I'm 5'3" 125 lbs), but also could be a bit roomier in the legs. Granted these are "men's"... but the smalls did fit me.If I were designing, I would eliminate the back pocket as it adds extra weight.

Not Too Bad!
I ordered these on a whim when I checked my ice fishing trip forecast and most days were -10 to -30F. They are not the highest quality mountain climbing pants but for underneath a pair of bibs they are extremely warm and comfortable.I am 6'2" and 200lbs and the XL fit perfect.

Very warm but very cold when you first put it on!
Very warm but very cold when you first put it on! The outer material would be better if it was some sort of soft cloth like cotton or fleece. But with the material it is now, it is verrrrry cold against your legs when you first put it on! Warms up nicely after awhile.

Run a bit small, but IDGAF
I am a 32 X 32 in most pant sizes. These run a biiiiit too small. Just a bit short, and a bit tight at the hip. If you are like me, size up and do yourself a favor. That having been said, I just wear these when I am being lazy and cold so i don't care too much. Buy these. Your legs and butt will thank you.
