I tried it on with a dress and loved the shape it created, yet it didn't really help me in the "back roll" department. But I got it for just slimming down my stomach, so I'm happy with my purchase for the most part. As far as comfort goes, it does fit pretty tight. I couldn't really bend over in this (because it rides up in the back a little bit), but it doesn't cut into the skin or create a muffin top. I'm in between sizes, Large and X-Large, so I decided to go with a Large since my stomach is bigger than my butt and that worked out nicely. Also, if you're looking to just make your butt look bigger, this might not be for you. It gives a attractive shape but not much lift. This works more for tummy control. *Update: Purchased the beige.
