When putting on the pants I found it very difficult to get up. There was not much stretch to the leg areas. I used the size chart given and bought a size medium (I also have worn this size for years). The waist was very loose while in my thigh area was tight and uncomfortable to move. I used these pants while running and the whole time they kept slipping down my legs making it difficult to keep running without stopping to pull them up. I was however very satisfied with how quickly they did allow my legs to sweat.
