She actually opens up about her feelings instead of just throwing a tantrum about something completely unrelated to what is actually bothering her. It forces her to think about what is really bothering her. She loves to tell her fairy her worry than writing in her feelings journal. Then she and I sit down and talk about it using the conversation cards. We do this after school (when I get home from work) and before bedtime.
