I tried this dye on my eyebrows as I have quite dark cool toned hair and I find that the eyelure dyebrow and other similar brands are too light/warm toned for me even in the darkest shades! Qualified Hairdresser here so allow me to save your face from any nasty reactions.This product is fantastic but you have to apply it correctly but before doing so you MUST do a patch test but looking at the negative reviews quite a few people are not bothering with this.To do this - mix a very small amount (pea size, equal parts) of both the peroxide (the white creme) and the colorant (the dark liquid) together and apply a tiny bit to either the crease of your elbow OR just behind your ear.Ideally you should leave this for a day to ascertain if you have any kind of nasty reaction (burning or stinging), it may not happen immediately so you have to be patient but it's worth it if it saves your face blowing up like the dum-dums in the pictures on the one star reviews who skipped this step.After 24 hours (or 48 if you want to be really sure) has passed as long as you haven't had any reaction at all then you're good to go, rinse off any residue from your elbow or behind your ear and pop some cotton wool up each nostril to avoid breathing in the odour that the color lets off.Mix equal parts again in two straight two inch lines into the tray, mix together with the handle of the brush and immediately apply to the beard. Define your borders and keep your lines sharp.Once you've covered your beard its super important to comb the color through, getting the hairs deep into the beard allows much better coverage.Wait 5-10 minutes max, rinse off and wash with designated beard shampoo, any staining can be removed with a little milk and cotton wool.Once you're done you can remove the cotton wool from your nostrils.Now it's just up to you how you shave your neck and cheek lines.I hope this helps you.

Well, I'm 40 in a few months and the greys have crept in over the past few years. Bought this along with the hair shampoo with no great expectations but knowing that just for men has a good reputation.I honestly look 30 again. I haven't told the misses that I bought it and the change has been so subtle that she can't quite figure it out! I keep getting the odd remark from her about "how the lock down is doing wonders for me", "have I lost weight?" and "how I look ten years younger than her"! Its eating her up and its hilarious to see the confusion on her face! I'm sure she will find the products soon though but I shall try my best to keep it hidden!Will definitely buy again, even if it's just for the comedy value! For a few quid its definitely worth it!Just a tip though, less is definitely more! Had a bit of a panic attack using it the first time around but learnt my lesson on the second go!

Bartfarbe, für mich die coolste Errungenschaft im männlichen Kosmetikkasten. Ich benutze das Zeug seit 10 Jahren immer wieder mal, wenn ich auf die Idee komme mir einen Bart stehen zu lassen. Mein Bart wäre ungefärbt zu 85% grau, mit Bartfarbe jetzt 94 % schwarz. Hier die häufigsten Fragen die ich dazu bekomme:Sieht es natürlich aus?Kein Mensch hat mich jemals gefragt ob mein Bart gefärbt ist. Und wenn ich es erzähle ist das Erstaunen groß. Mit ein bisschen Übung hat man den Bogen raus welchen Farbton man braucht, wieviel Farbe man aufträgt und wie lange man es einwirken lassen muss. Hat bei mir drei verschiedene Farbtöne und ein paar Wochen gedauert, bis ich das perfekte Setting für mich raushatte. Aber schon nach der ersten Anwendung war das Ergebnis bemerkenswert gut.Deckt es gut das Grau ab?Total unterschiedlich, mal färbt es wie verrückt alles grau was vorhanden ist und manchmal hat man das Gefühl es tut sich echt wenig. Ich weiß nicht ob es an Qualitätsschwankungen beim Produkt liegt oder mein Bart an diesem Tag keine Farbe annimmt weil evtl. zu viele Öl- oder Wachsreste noch vorhanden sind. Hab aber eher das Gefühl ersteres... Um eine nahezu komplette Grauhaarabdeckung hinzubekommen, muss man erfahrungsgemäß schon mit ein paar mal färben rechnen und ab dann färbt man halt immer nach.Wie lange hält es?Auch hier wieder total unterschiedlich, keine Ahnung warum. Manchmal habe ich das Gefühl es wäscht sich nach ein paar Tagen langsam wieder raus und dann bin ich jetzt gerade in der zweiten Woche nach dem letzten färben und die Farbe hält wie verrückt. Das einzige grau sind im Moment die Stellen an denen der Bart nachwächst. Wer aber um ein immer gleiches Erscheinungsbild bemüht ist, sollte sich auf die wöchentliche Färbeprozedur einstellen, alleine wegen dem neuen, nachwachsenden, grauen Bartansatz. Für einen gar nicht so langen geschätzten Viermonatsbart, gehen bei mir in der Regel zwei Packungen im Monat bei einem wöchentlichen Färbezyklus drauf.Färbt es die Haut?Leider ja, mal mehr mal weniger, ich habe festgestellt je trockener meine Gesichtshaut ist, umso hartnäckiger hält die Farbe auf der Haut. Manchmal so stark, das man an diesen Tag nicht rausgehen sollte wenn man keine Lacher produzieren will, es sei denn man ist der Joker. Meine erste Hilfe ist dann Gesichtswasser, mit normalen Seifen etc. ist da nichts zu machen. Über Nacht regeneriert sich das alles wieder und am nächsten Morgen ist es so gut wie weg, so das man sich aggressive Reiniger eigentlich sparen kann wenn man abends färbt.Hier noch ein paar Erfahrungen die ich gesammelt habe:1. Vor dem färben mind. 24 Stunden vorher keine Pflegeprodukte wie Öle oder Wachse benutzen und den Bart richtig auswaschen und ganz trocknen lassen. Wachse und Öle verhindern das die Haare die Farbe annehmen. Vielleicht ist der Grund wenn das färben nicht so gut klappt, weil ihr noch zu viele Rückstände von Pflegemitteln in den Barthaaren habt.2. Andererseits dort wo auf der Haut/Bart keine Farbe hin soll, einfach eine Feuchtigkeitscreme auftragen.3. Bartkonturen evtl. nach dem färben schneiden/rasieren.4. Beim Färben und auswaschen der Farbe die Handschuhe tragen, die Farbe geht nur schwer von den Händen/Fingernägeln wieder runter.5. Die Farbe spritzt trotzdem, egal wie vorsichtig ihr sie aufträgt. Deswegen decke ich die unmittelbare Umgebung ein wenig mit Papier ab, diese mini Farbspritzer sind trocken echt hartnäckig, nicht auf Holz tropfen lassen, geht nicht wieder ab. Nehmt ein schwarzes Handtuch nach dem Auswaschen, bei mir sind trotzdem noch genug Farbreste im Bart um es einzusauen. Ein Shirt beim färben zu tragen, ist auch keine gute Idee.6. Besorgt euch Wattepads und ein Gesichtswasser zur Hautreinigung um Farbreste direkt nach dem färben von der Haut zu bekommen, damit geht es bei mir ganz gut.7. Falls ihr noch kein Bartöl zu Pflege habt, braucht ihr spätestens jetzt eins. Durch das färben wird das Barthaar trocken und stumpf. Nach mehreren verschiedenen Versuchen bin ich bei 100% reinem Arganöl hängen geblieben, ohne irgendwelchen Zusatzstoffen, die perfekte Pflege für gefärbte Bärte.8. Sollte man mit dem Ergebnis nicht zufrieden sein, auf keinen Fall gleich hinterher noch einmal färben. Ich habe es mal gleich zweimal hintereinander gemacht und beim zweiten färben brannte die Haut lichterloh den ganzen Abend.
