Found out real quick that the cute little stars are cut-outs that allow rain to get to the "flame", and or battery compartment and of course,  then it quits working.  If you put it under shelter, probably will be fine.

Plastic and very light weight.  Not sure if the top is supposed to snap on.  It is loose but stays in place.  Not sure what would happen with a windy day.I do like the flame like appearance of the light as well as a timer.
