Review: Excellent quality, plus excellent customer support. - There are a number of very similar LED shop lights on desertcart. It is always a challenge to know which have the best quality and customer support if things go wrong. We bought a box of six of these 8 foot LED shop lights for our 24 foot by 24 foot garage. We use our garage for building projects and auto repair, so the lights needed to be bright. We were prepared to buy twice as many lights if necessary. It wasn't necessary and the garage now has a bright, even light. Installation was easy. Some have complained about the clips being too weak. They are thin metal, but the lights are also very light weight, so using the four clips per light appear to be just fine. This Barrina kit comes with more accessories than many similar LED shop light kits which was very handy. Some have complained that the pigtails for permanent wiring are too short. They are pretty short, but they worked perfectly for our application. We installed 3 rows of 2 lights per row - connecting together the 2 lights in a given row. We used single gang, blue old-work boxes to power each row of lights. To make the perfect face plate, use a coax video face plate with the coax connector removed. The pigtail runs through the center hole with enough room inside to connect it to the Romex. The kit comes with 4 foot power cords that can be used to connect two lights. The cords are higher quality than what we thought that we would get based on the pictures on desertcart. We wanted two foot cords without bunching up the wire for a more clean installation look. It turns out that you can buy these mickey-mouse end type cables (so called because of the three circular connectors) on desertcart in various lengths. We used desertcart ASIN: B077GVTV9Q. Curiously, the 2 foot lengths are not currently shown as they were last week, but the 1 foot, 4 foot, 6 foot and 8 foot are listed. Search for "double end connector for T8 LED integrated LED tube". We also tried another brand of LED shop light that had "twice as many LEDs in double rows" and rated at 120W instead of 72W. We thought that they would be better because we really wanted the brightest light. Turns out that those lights do not live up to the advertising. There are twice as many LEDs, but the LEDs are smaller and the bulbs are no brighter than the Barrina bulbs. Using a Watt meter the other bulbs only drew 68 Watts. Also their color was more blue which isn't what we wanted. These Barrina lights draw exactly 72 Watts as advertised and are a really nice color - not too blue and not too red. However, we couldn't find any indication of UL listing on either brand. One of the Barrina LED lights arrived with a defective pixel. We contacted the seller and they responded amazingly fast - within an hour on the weekend. They went out of their way to make the situation right and exceeded my expectations. Very impressed. We ended up buying another box of six 8 foot lights to put in my son-in-laws woodworking shop. That is perhaps the best indication of how well these lights worked for us. Best lights. Best accessories. Best customer service. We highly recommend these lights from Barrina.

**Q: are these lights really more than 8,500 lumens?**
A: Hi to answer your question it’s not more than 8,500 lm I think it’s around there as far as brightness goes it is bright! It’s the brightest lights I ever used for my garage and I have tried all different things to help me see better at night and day time when I’m working on bikes and cars and it’s been a blessing to have them now I hardly have to use drop lights all over the car or bike that I’m working on I can see what I’m working on and I think it’s the best investment I made money well spent

**Q: Are these UL listed?**
A: I see no evidence of a UL listing on Amazon or the Barinna wrb site. If they had a UL listing they woud not hide it. I would never plug in an electric device in my home with no UL listing.

**Q: will these work good in a 30x60 shop with high ceilings ?**
A: I’d get 2 sets at least. My shop is 16x24. One set is fantastic, but it’s right at the limit for the space being lit well enough to really see the work.and take video and pictures anywhere in the shop. I think one set would barely cover that space, and you would have some dark spots. Ideally I’d go with 4 sets for your space if your doing any sort of work that requires attention to detail. Now if all you were doing was storing stuff, one set would probably work. If you’re doing mechanic work, you could get away with one set as long as you also got some repositionable work lights. I worked with minimum light in my shop for several years. I’d always see things I missed in the daylight. No more. Only drawback I see is how close these have to be together if you want to link them. In my shop one set spans the entire distance, but a single line spanning 60 feet would take a minimum of 12 lights, and these only let you string six, so you would need to separately wire or use at least 2 extension cords to span that space. Bottom line, for the price, this set is ridiculous. Extremely easy to set up and works great. This is the first product I’ve ever felt strongly enough about to respond positively. That says a lot. Get these lights.

**Q: These lights are producing radio interference.  Should they be doing that? Is there a way to mitigate this? What to do?**
A: Sounds like you have a ground problem in your house/shop wiring.  Just guessing.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome, I want more.

I just installed 9 of these 8' 6500k lights in my garage using WAGO 221 connectors and some 14awg speaker cable, though you could use 16 gauge. They're insanely bright and the color is perfect. It's better than daylight by a lot. I plan to add more now. Just get a laser that can make a vertical line so you can light up all of the clips for an easy install. Spacing isn't very important, really. Using WAGO connectors makes the wiring too easy. No issues with the lights. Very nice lights for the money. I'm adding an occupancy sensor switch so they turn on and off automatically. Just wire your switch inline with the hot side so it cuts the power feed to the lights, then run power out of the switch to the lights and finish it off at the neutral wire for a proper loop. No need for a ground, though it does include that option in the wiring if you're that paranoid.
