GamboaGenuine Alpaca Poncho for Women Shall Knitted Wrap Cape

I have worn it in rains. While moving trees storm blown across roads, in pre-sunrise down pour conditions. I did get wet, but was warm. In winds, volcanic smog, camp fires it jas stood up. I have slept in it, used it as a blanlet many times. I had to replace the neck strings once so far. It looks better every day.If you want something that is warm, looks interesting and is fully functional I would suggest this. The alpaca wool gets softer and more comfortable every day.

This is great! My wife was very happy with it. After carefully looking at all similar items on Amazon, I decided on this one, and I'm glad I did. My wife is 5'4" and 135 lbs and it has plenty of fabric to cuddle up in.The colors look very natural but not drab. The fabric is so soft, too, much more so than merino wool in my experience, and doesn't seem to pill as easily as cashmere. Would recommend.

Bought this Pancho as a Christmas present for my friend. She loved it so I bought another for my wife. Goes with many different things. Perfect length they are both 5'-7".

I am 6'3" and this serape fits me fine. It covers out to my elbows and down to my knees. The hood fits my head and I could wear a ball cap (7 1/2) under the hood. It is lightweight, warm, comfortable and very soft. It does not smell or is oily in any way as the other reviews state. This is my first wool outerware and I am very pleased with it. I plan to use it when temps cool down in the evenings and when I go fishing and camping this summer. I will follow-up this review after I use it for a few months, hence just 4 stars now..

We used it for my husband, who cannot move his arms easily to put on winter jackets. It was wonderful. He wore a heavy sweater under it as it was in low 30's. it is so soft and yet warm and very comfortable to wear.

I really enjoy this poncho. I have gotten so many compliments on it and its so comfortable. I would highly recommend this to everyone and its nice to wear anywhere. Perfect if you have a desk job and work in a cooler building. I wish it was machine washable but that alpaca wool for you it hand washes really easily with a damp cloth.

I was pleasantly surprised when I unfolded the poncho as to the quality feel. It looks and feels like a fine alpaca/cashmere sweater. Construction is very good and the color is, fortunately, more vibrant than the picture. So far I am very pleased with this purchase. I don't see this poncho replacing a winter jacket but for mild cool weather and for around the house, it is an alternative. This is the second color I purchased within a month. I could not be more pleased with the quality and comfort of both ponchos. My poncho had no scent.A few minor cons: the head opening is tight (crew neck) even with the string completely loosened up. I would like to see the hood just slightly larger. I would recommend this poncho and would purchase another. (UPDATE) I just did!
