I daresay it could be sprayed with a waterproofing spray. I ironed on then stitched too for added security. **Q: What is the size** A: The patches are 4cm in width and 3cm in height. I have found when first ironed on they stick well but eventually start to loosen off. I have attached with a few stitches now to make sure the patch stays on. Lovely patches. **Q: Wanting to attach to a blanket, do they wash well when iron on or would you advise sewing if washing often?** A: I sewed them on as well as they were for patches on the knees of some jogging bottoms of my grandson. They seemed to stick well but thought I would be safe as didn’t want them to come off as they would be washed frequently. **Q: Can they be ironed on please** A: They can be ironed .
