Updated review. While the system on arrival stated 'hardware changed, cannot be activated' a windows system restore got it back to a state where activation was successful. While the small machine is very heavy for it's size, it performs well. The on screen keyboard is a little clunky but functions satisfactorily.Overall this unit makes a nice first computer or companion computer. The touchscreen works well and the external micro SD card slot is very handy. Battery appears to last for at least 4 hours on heavy use.

I bought a similar product a few years ago for college and it worked perfectly, then it started acting up this past summer so I decided on this item as it fit my needs best most. When I first got it everything worked great and its design of laptop/tablet combo was awesome. About a week before my classes started I noticed it would open random things that I didn't open like the documents or additional internet browsers and the my computer file. So I co tacted support and they walked me through a couple different things to fix it and a factory reset seemed to work best. Now about two weeks after this it started doing the same thing only now the mouse pad doesn't work. Support was amazing in helping with a return even though I was a month past the return date.

Purchased May 2019. In March 2021 I noticed that the case no longer closed all the way due to battery swelling. After the latest Windows update, it is no longer functional and will not even boot into BIOS.

This item is perfect for my son, who needed a remote learning device. Easy for him to use and navigate to access posted work - and the TWO cameras allow him to remain connected to his friends virtually.The star of my experience is the manufacturer. When I had a problem with my device -- I contacted the seller, but had no response. I went directly to the manufacturer, and they have been a hug help - very responsive and easy to reach for assistance. Even though they are in China - they answered me within 2 days and had a solution for me.

This thing is the biggest lemon I have ever bought! It restarts itself every five minutes or so...if that! I bought it to use while on my layovers and long flights while I travel. I cannot get any work done. I'm sorely disappointed and now am the proud owner of a paperweight!

This unit has exceeded my expectations, although it's not a power house. It seems very stable with a clear screen. The detachable Keyboard is good for typing. The trackpad is a little small, but it's ok. Baterry is holding out well. Wspeakers are the only negative but I'll use a bluettoth speaker if needed

I sent this back after 2 wks. Horrible Camera, wouldn't focus & color so far off. Battery life wasn't the greatest either.

the screen could not rotate back so the viewing was terrible. And it does not detach. sent it back immediately. worthless

The product is very well made/sturdy and surprisingly powerful for a small Win10 pc. Also, the ability to use it either as a laptop or a tablet is very handy, depending on how and where one is using it. The solid-state drive is a reasonable size at 64GB, since Win10 and related apps use up about 20 GB. I’ve supplemented this in-built storage by inserting a 128 GB Micro SD card, and also have access to a 1TB cloud storage via MS OneDrive. I’m very pleased with the price, quality, and utility of the product.

Very good value for portable laptop/tablet useI bought this to replace my old Asus Vivotab which could not support the latest version of windows 10 and noticeable slow. This AWOW notebook came with 64 bit and the very latest Windows version ( 1809 ), just what I need indeed. Microsoft office application, web browsing, all programs run smoothly and fast.I added a 128GB Sandisk Ultra micro SDXC card - moving documents, music, pictures and videos onto it to leave maximum space on the c:\ drive to run windows 10 effectively.Quality is better than expected as the screen and its responsiveness is as good as any and a nice texture on the back, which helps you grip the device. A bonus - it comes with a screen protector pre-installed. Really glad I got the tablet laptop for the price , it was defintley worth the money.

I bought this as a backup for my laptop on a month-long trip over Christmas. My laptop is near end of life and I worried that I wouldn't be able to get it fixed where I was going. I also wanted to take it onto the beach -- I thought if the AWOW got ruined, $300 would not be the end of the world.But it totally exceeded my expectations! The compact size makes it easy to lug around and the smaller keyboard is surprisingly comfortable. Great performance that I was really not expecting, and it is still working great. Good image quality - I watched Netflix on it. I find the touch screen a little bit unpredictable, but overall the AWOW performs better than my more-expensive Lenovo Yoga ever has. With its MS Office compatibility and the ability to gang up a secondary monitor, it is way more useful to me than an iPad would be.

I bought this for my mother-in-law so she could borrow and read library books online during the pandemic. I chose this tablet for 2 reasons:1) I runs on window 10 which my mother-in-law uses on her laptop so ait was a small learning curve for her.2) It has a detachable keyboard with a usb port for a mouse or other accessories.It is faster than her laptop. I would recommend This tablet if you want windows 10.

Very top heavy and uses the worst processor on the market. It was extremely slow to boot up and use Microsoft Office for basic school work. The attached touchscreen is also extremely top heavy and detached itself from the keyboard often.If you want something cheap, this is what you get.
