From Ear to Eternity
Both of my kids have been expressing interests in music lately. Call me crazy, but I bought some toy instruments for them, just so they could get a feel for what it might be like to play them. This violin is....interesting. It does allow a kid to get a feel for how to hold the instrument as well as work a bow. The bow also makes a swell sword or jousting implement. There is a nice mixture of pre-recorded music. It definitely sounds mechanical vs like a violin. It's shrill. It's irritating. The kids love this bloody thing. Best/worst of all, it's durable! After being played with, stepped on, used as a mallet, and strummed like a ukulele being handled by a Starbucks junkie, it just keeps working. This product is amazing for kids. If it weren't so irritating to me, I'd totally give it 5 stars.

Looks really nice, not really functional.
The seller was really nice and helpful. The product itself was extremely light plastic and small. My child didnt use it as it wasn't very functional. It looks really nice but if you're looking for one your child can actually practice on, this is not it.

Not worth it even just for play.
This thing is crap. The strings are loose and cannot be tightened at all and the bow is the same. I know it is just plastic...but the description says you could at least run the bow over it to try and make music...that is not happening with this. I need to figure out how to return it and get my money back.

Junk and totally not worth it. Broke my kids heart after waiting so long for this rubbish to arrive only to find out that it dosent work

Noisy but looks very real
Amazing for my 2 year old, but very noisy! Does not have an on/off switch. However it does look like a real one and so my three year old loves it!
