I simultaneously got some mosquito bites, along with a few bee stings working in the backyard, and the combination of the different bug attacks left me not in the most comfortable disposition. I applied some of this stuff to the affected areas and it greatly minimized the discomforts. One thing though is that you cannot have anything touching the bumps after applying this stuff or it’s effectiveness is reduced. For example, clothing rubbing over the areas or inadvertently running your hands on the bumps will only irritate it again even with this stuff applied. It was a challenge in certain areas of my body (like behind my knee or on my thigh) to just expose the affected skin area so those parts stayed irritated a bit even after applying Emu Bliss. Upon application, I felt a slight warming sensation and it took about 20-30 minutes before I felt that the itchiness from most of the affected areas were greatly reduced. One important note is that this product isn't something where you can just apply it and can forget it for the rest of the day. Since it only temporarily treats, you must have the patience to keep reapplying the ointment when the irritation creeps up again.
