I do not have especially large hands or very long fingers. I ordered these in large and they were snug but fine, and I'm happy with them. Might be a little more difficult to slide on and off quickly if I'm very hot and sweaty, but still ok. A family member gave me the same ones in XL for Xmas, by mistake, and they felt a bit too large, harder to manage switches and buttons on the dash with them. **Q: Are these fire proof?** A: Yes I believe they are but it is the lowest rating that you can get. **Q: Are these sfi-1 or sfi-5? the description states both ("exceeds sfi 3.3/5 rating" and "built to sfi-1 specs")** A: I posted a picture of the SFI 3.3/1 label on the glove. According to SFI Foundation web site, SFI 3.3 Driver's Accessories is correct. SFI 3.3/1 appears to be the lowest rating and SFI 3.3/20 the highest Thermal Protective Performance (TPP).
