The blade of the knife has held up extremely well and cuts just as sharp as i did out of the box. I use this knife to breakdown chicken wing sections, cutting vegetables, and portioning fish. The knife works very well as the thin blade makes for precision cuts on vegetables like onions that may need to be minced. I store the knife on my magnetic knife bar and have had no issues. As long as you use proper knife cleaning you will be fine. Oh and the customer service is great as well.This is a very beautiful knife and straight out of the box is really sharp. I have a couple of more expensive knives that I use mainly, yet wanted something else for smaller jobs. The first knife that arrived had the tip broken, however their customer service was amazing. I sent them an email with my order number and received a replacement in a day or so. I have used the knife for about a week now to breakdown whole chicken wings and leg quarters.
