Water-based paste used to apply Ranger Shiny Foil Transfer Sheets. Use straight from the tube or with a pallet knife if a thicker or wider area is desired.Works great with stencils! Apply paste to Bible page, lay the shiny foil over the desired area, let thoroughly dry, then peel away from page. 37ml tube, dries clear.

Yes it is for gilding, but using this with outlining painting items and adding mica, foil, metalic glitter, what ever, this stuff keeps it in place, dries clear, and is a bit costly. However, I found a place to order more than just one tube at a time with a discount for not having caps. Just the sealed tube. SO, I ordered this one with a cap and now have an good amount to use on large items. I did learn something in using different "after drying is tacky" glues. Guess what? A glue gun will also outline and then keep mica stuck to it. Yes, it is a cheaper route, but if your art matters, this is the bomb as it is easier to use, more control is available, you are using this as a pen, and a glue gun as an arm. Detail is better delivered by this Pebeo product. Highly recommend. '

**Q: I know this stuff is for watercolor, but is there any reason why I wouldn't be able to use this for applying gold leaf to stained glass?**
A: The Relief Gilding tube stuff should adhere to the stained glass art, tip I suggest, a clear coat of protective varnish should set it.  Be sure to clean / dry areas before using.  Good luck.

**Q: Can this product be painted over after dry instead of gold leafed?**
A: The short answer is probably, but why? The point of this is it drys tacky to attach gold leaf, or whatever you wan to stick to it. If you want a 3D effect I can think or quite a few cheaper ways to do that.
