A: It comes like the picture. There is a rope that is attached to the top which you can place on your shepherds hook to hang.

A: Yes, they can be removed.  Take the top off and move it to the side and the panels will lift straight up out of the slots that are cut in the wood.

Love this bird feeder. Easy to fill, the birds love it. Well made and holds up well in rain and wind. Came well packaged, easy to assemble . Fits well on top of an old tree stump. Great buy.

I would give it a 5 but it came damaged. I didn't feel like having to go a wholefoods about 40 minutes from me to return and wait so I glued the edge of the roof back on. Advice: after placing foam on both edges of the roof, maybe wrap it twice with shrink wrap to hold the foam on so nothing breaks. Other than that mishap the item is as described and is perfect for my bird feeder stand.
