it's a very good fireplace, good for my 1000 ft office. it looks like a 'real fireplace', very pretty. if it has a timer that will be perfect.

Overall the product is nice, there are a few quality concerns, some screw holes were not predrilled though the instructions didn't show them actually being predrilled, I know that seems like a stupid critique but the product is particle board with a laminate and in my experience forcing screws into particle board without predrilling causes the wood to blow out. Also some of the cams holes weren't completely drilled out and the cams themselves are low quality one broke and a few of them when tighten cracked the area around the hole, and no it wasn't from over tighten them. Luckily I have other cams from other items and none of the connections are visible. Overall I recommend this product and for only $160.00 drilling a few holes and having some hardware issues it's still worth purchasing.

I ordered this product as a gift and the recipient is delighted with it. The final product is an attractive piece of furniture and it works well. It easily heats a 10x8 ft space and provides comfort with and without heat. It is quiet and the remote is essential for convenience; not every fireplace model has one.I assembled the cover (the directions were straight-forward) but I couldn't lift the entire fireplace without help. Each piece, the cover and the heating element, were light enough to move however. So the final part of the installation was done in place.Initially, the unit buzzed when operated. You need a drill, and the provided screws, to attach the cover to the heating element-just as the instructions indicate-or the unit will buzz.

The Fireplace looks like the picture.(Initially, I thought the product description said it was veneer wood;however I don't see this in the current product description now).The item is fairly solid and works as described. I bought it for my bedroom.However, I'm surprised that when it's turned on there's a low humm. When the tempurature is put up, it does make some nosie (I assume fan/blower. Even when the heat feature is turned off that, theres still a low humm). I'm a little dissappointed as it part of the reason for purchase- was for asthetics.It does heat the room , it takes a few hors to heat the whole room (18 x 25)to to a more desireable setting.If you like white noise it's perfect for the bedroom. If you're an extremely light sleeper (like myself), this would be better in a more common room, such as the family/TV room -where there aqare other things going on.

This is a good product for the money! My hubby and I enjoy the ambiance of the flames, with or without using heat. It heats our large living room very well! Loving it so far! The only complaint I have it that it came in several pieces and took some time to assemble.

Bought this as a Xmas gift for my 83 yr old dad. He has a large one in the Living room and mentioned that a smaller one in his bedroom would be nice. Now that its assembled and he has been happy with it...I need to list my thoughts:*Great heat. Way too hot for me in his room, however perfect for him.*I knew it needed to be assembled but wow...what a pain. No directions, just drawings. Thank goodness for those. (I was relieved that all the screws etc.were accounted for.)*Cheap wood.(particle board?)There are some little stickers that need peeled off. If you're not careful, they peel off the paint. A marker pen comes w assembly..I guess they know thats going to happen.* Which brings me to the price. I paid $178.94 (thank goodness I'm a Prime member..no shipping $) For the quality, workmanship and having it come unassembled...I feel it was over priced. Hopefully it lasts longer than some other reviewers have experienced.

The look of the fireplace is great- classic and modern. The flames are sweet and realish looking. The amount of heat it gives off is reasonable. Down sides are that you can’t have the heat on without the flames. Also, when assembling the wooden parts didn’t quite line up perfectly in general and I was never able to attach the legs properly due to mismatching holes and pegs— I ended up just letting it be “legless” and rest on the ground. Also, the paint chips easily so no rough-housing near it haha.
