A dinger bell on the floor, a string of bells hung from the door knob - they both work to some degree but the dogs have to use enough force to make the noise loud enough to be heard. Not so with this new device from KISSIN.There are two transmitters that just barely have to be tapped by your dogs nose or paw in order to cause the receiver to sound. Each transmitter can be set up with its own sound through the receiver. One could be placed inside and one outside so your dog can also let you know when they are ready to come back in. We have ours set at different locations within the house. I was shocked at just how far the transmitters signals traveled without any issue.The receiver is simply plugged into an outlet in a central location. Mine was automatically paired with both transmitters - all I had to do was remove a plastic strip which activated the batteries. The receiver has three buttons - a volume, and a forward and backward. You can choose from 55 different ringtones - from a simple ding dong to Beethoven, there is something for everyone. The volume control allows it to be turned up loud enough to be heard throughout the house.I think this is a huge improvement over the traditional training aids allowing your dog to let you know they are ready to go out. We tried tying a bell to the door but it wasn’t loud enough. We tried a desk bell but her paw was too small to correctly push it down with rough force. This doorbell requires little to no pressure for it to ring. You do have to touch it in the center for it to ring, our puppy is tiny and at times her paw will touch the outside and it doesn’t go off. But after I ask her to do it again she will continue until she touches the center. I’m thinking as she grows and her paws get bigger this will no longer be an issue. Her personality is a little stubborn so this might also contribute to her not touching the sensor correctly. Over all I am extremely pleased with the doorbell. It comes with various tones to pick from and four different volume levels. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ You and your dog will love it! *by I***E on Reviewed in the United States on March 12, 2019* This is an amazing product!I mounted one transmitter to the inside of our back door and mounted the second transmitter to the outside wall.Remarkably, It survived -20 Deg F weather.Once you figure it out, setting up the transmitters is easy and the ringtone choices are vast. One of the best features is having unique ringtones, which makes it easy to tell if your dog wants to go outside or is ready to come back inside.I would give this 5 stars, but:1. Double-sided tape is provided to attach the transmitters. If you decided to move the transmitter, it would probably remove the finish from your wall / door.2. To replace the battery, you need to remove 3 screws on the back of the transmitter. You would first need to detach the transmitter from the wall / door, then remove the double-sided tape. Then you would need to get more double-sided tape. Not the best design.Plan B: Instead of using double-side tape, I purchased some exterior-grade Velcro for about $4.00. If the battery does need to be replaced, the transmitter can easily be removed and opened.
