I'm using it for storing and transporting a small refractor telescope. This is not the intended market segment for this product, but it works quite well and met my needs. I'm using the foam insert that came with the telescope to serve as the bed / support inside the bag. A perfect fit. The dimensions and description were accurate. The provided padding and inserts are good and provide flexibility, but are not substantial. There is Velcro along the interior that helps keep the inserts in place. A nice feature. This is a flexible bag and is not rigid, so if you have a fragile item this may not protect the contents from a hard bump or fall. The seams, straps and zipper are substantial and are built for years of use.
