They are true to size. I wear a size 5m shoe and these socks fit perfectly. They are not tube socks, they have a toe and heel. I have short legs so they fit just above my knee. They stay up, thick and warm. A little pricey, but I ordered a second pair cause I loved them so much. I have washed them in a normal wash setting and dried in the dryer. They are still holding their shape. Didn't shrink, shed etc. I took a picture on my cell phone, but I don't know how to post it on Amazon.
