Review: Boom! And the Wasps are Gone...... - Last year I had two nests to get rid of but due to their location - both behind brick - I had to use powder to puff in to the gaps. This year's nest was a big one out in the garden, under a bush. Underground under a bush to be exact. It took a bit of sleuthing to find the actual entrance and this was much easier done at night with a torch. Entrance found - and a very large tunnel entrance too! So, the next day, I had a quick spray of this stuff as a test so I was prepared for how it worked in case I needed to act quickly and make a sharp exit. That night I went out to the nest in darkness, with my torch, to have another look. All very quiet with zero activity. Perfect time then. I fired this stuff in from about 2 metres back from the entrance and let it rip for 8s, as directed on the tin. Seemed to leave a nice foamy mess and still no activity. Last year, with the powder, it really stirred up a frenzy! Next day, zero activity!! This worked after one applications. Before it was like a wasp M6 with a constant stream coming and going, but now - zero, zilch. Not one of the blighters. Two days later and still zero activity so I can conclude that the nest was well truly obliterated by this stuff. Excellent. I did think it was a bit pricey at the time but based on the results I take that back. Highly recommended to get the job done first time. Well, it did for me anyway!
Review: Didn’t help and second can faulty. - Didn’t help with the wasp nest in our compost bin. This was the second bottle, as the first made little difference sprayed into the entrance. This second bottle also didn’t spray properly and at times not at all unless we hit it on the ground, so had to get much closer which result in stings. In the end we pulled the bin over to expose the nest, smashed it with a long pole and sprayed this direct onto the pieces and wasps. Still didn’t get them all so ended up putting wood down to burn the nest and destroy the eggs. In short, pointless if the nest isn’t exposed and the product can doesn’t work consistently.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Has anyone used this product on an underground nest?**
A: no but I used it on a nest inside a stone wall and it worked very well

**Q: I have a nest that’s appeared in a garden bush. Will this harm the bush also?**
A: I don’t think so I used it on a tree nest safely

**Q: Does this actually spray over 4 metres**
A: No. My first can sprayed half a metre with some silly light airly foam that floated in the air and blew around back towards me. I returned it. Will see what the second can has when it arrives tomorrow. Seems like a lot of these have spraying mechanisms with weak streams. Such a simple problem to fix. I'm not spraying this at a wasps nest at a distance of 50cm, no way - simply asking for trouble.

**Q: I have a wasp nest inside some railyway sleepers, will this work?**
A: Thank you for your query. For the disposing of wasps/wasp nest we would advise you that the ZER556 Ultra Power Wasp Nest Foam Killer will work and is best used in the late evening/early morning & from a safe distance. We would only advise for you to use this product you have a full view of the nest. If in any way you are unable to have full access/ full sight of nest entrance hole, we would advise you to seek professional help to remove the nest. (to avoid being stung). For the foam to work, it needs to be completely saturated from all angles. There are two active ingredients in this product; one kills on contact, the other creates longer action that kills from the inside the nest. It can take up to a few hours to come into effect, the nest will soak through and kill eventually dissolve the nest away. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any further queries.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wow
*by L***R on 24 June 2022*

This stuff really works. I live in a bungalow and I had a wasps nest right outside my lounge window, little buggers kept flying into the lounge so I had to close the window. At that point, I didn't know I had a nest, I just got a little suspicious as to why so many wasps were in my lounge. Anyway, right under the eves there was a little gap leading to my loft and they were coming in and out, but at that stage, they were all pretty small so the nest must be at an early stage. I couldn't reach it without a ladder but I wanted them gone, so I looked through Amazon's huge range and settled on this product along with the powder. It arrived the next day so just before dusk I went out and without the need for a ladder I gave the hole a quick blast. It was very simple to do and seemed to cover the wasp hole nicely. A few came out but were covered in the foam and couldn't fly, I left them to bed down for the night. I had a look the next morning and they were still in and out of the nest, so I got the foam and gave the hole another quick blast of the foam, which covered the wasp hole nicely once again. A fair few wasps came out of the hole again but couldn't fly due to being covered in foam, I left them to settle in for the day. At dusk, I got the ladder and squirted the powder into the wasp hole, and got away from the nest pretty darn quick. Quite a few wasps trying to fly back into the wasp nest were stuck as the hole was blocked with the powder and they were getting covered in the powder, I left them to settle in for the night. The next day there were still wasps flying in and out but not as many as the day before, I got up the ladder and gave the wasp hole another squirt of the powder blocking the hole. Once again quite a few wasps were trying to get back into the wasp hole but it was blocked with the powder, I left them to settle in for the day. The next day they had managed to dig the wasp hole out but there were no wasps coming out. I kept an eye on the nest and still to this day there are no wasps anymore. I don't know if it was the foam or the powder but the nest is dead and gone so as far as I am concerned it's worth the money. I know the nest is probably in my loft and the wasp hole I am poisoning is only the entrance, the wasps do the rest by carrying the poison back to the nest, infecting more wasps and eventually killing the queen.
