One bar of soap only for facial use 1-2 times daily and used conservatively as I have been doing could have lasted me several months and only reason I had to repurchase is because someone else decided to use it which grossed me out so bought another bar lol I've kept mine on a tightly sealed soap container after use, only using on my face. I've had some gnarly adult acne recently and decided to try this at my wits end. I use with a facial cleansing brush after a very light facial cleanser. After, I use an exfoliating cream wash, rose water toner, a light lotion, after lotion dries 30 mins or so I then use differin gel or clean and clear acne gel and after the gel dries, I use a Neutrogena am/pm facial lotion. If I skip the antibacterial soap bar in my facial cleansing regimen, it messes my whole system up and my face becomes noticeably broke out with in 36 hours or so. Its so ridiculous this works considering this acne I'm dealing with off and on is hormone related and always thought cleansers never helped for those kind of break outs. What I really love about this antibacterial soap, aside from it working obviously, is my face is very dry normally especially with differen gel and antibacterial washes usually cause a bad bout of dry painful burning skin even if lotion or waters applied but this so far does not do that, in fact it actually helps moisturize my skin. I very much need all the moisture i can get especially due to differen gel or clean and clear gel because it can cause terribly burning painful skin at times even though it does work. I needed something that was super gentle on my face like everything else that I use aside from the gels but the only antibacterial soaps that I was coming across were very harsh for your skin and dry it out, but Cuticura was the only one that I found that did not do that but male sure it's this specific bar of medicated antibacterial soap because it is specifically made for skin that needs moisturizing help and gentle. Super glad that I found this considering I had no idea it even existed! I switched from "the blue bar" to Oil of Olay products and for a while that seemed to be going well. But then I developed dry, flaky patches on my face. I doubled down on my moisturizing routine, but the dry patches persisted. I'd look fine for the first couple of hours of the day, but by lunch time the flakes would show up again. It looked gross and I was embarrassed. I finally remembered that Cuticura had a dry skin formula and decided it was worth a try. Within 2 weeks my skin was back to normal.
