I barely got the catnip in. She is a very old, blind, deaf and insecure cat that our office rescued from the shelter. She likes to sit in front of me on my desk and I've been trying to train her to curl up in a corner of the desk. This bed seems to do the trick. I would rather have a soft bed but she was handed to the shelter because she peed on blankets, clothes and soft things (including the soft bed I first bought for her). I don't know why she would be comfortable in this bed, but she seems to be. It bigger than I thought which is why I only ordered one. It is hard to imagine sizes for me. Photos change the aspect and it is hard to tell the inner dimensions. I have two male full grown cats. Don't let the seller picture fool you - a full grown cat can fit comfortably inside of this. The attached picture is my older male who is over ten pounds. He's a male cat that is a good size for a male cat (just not fat). My other cat who is a little smaller framed but fat also fits.
