Ie does it do automatic readings?** A: This instrument is designed for static measurements ie you sit at a desk and take the measurement. This can be done several times a day if you so choose. There are products on the market that will, as you suggest, make measurements over a 24 hr period -these tend to be for professional use only and cost several thousand pounds. **Q: Is it possible to revert to using the excellent previous app and discard the slow, ugly, complicated new one?** A: I assume the original has been taken off "Play" so I just ignore the option to update to the new version. Not much help if you've already loaded the new one, sorry **Q: how do you transfer the readings from the RS3 app to a windows pc?** A: You can only transfer direct to Omron’s app. Then, from the app, you can export the data as a cvs file and email it to yourself. That way you have the file on your computer and can open it with a spreadsheet or whatever. Hope this helps you. **Q: Is it rechargeable ?** A: NO...... It uses 2 X AAA batteries ! You have to remember to position your elbow so wrist is same level as heart. Do 3 readings. Download app on your phone and it send your details via blue tooth and you get reading for day wee months 6 months and year. And heart beat it’s useful when you have to keep checking and to show your doctor. The battery seem to last longer than the upper arm one. It comes with compact case. Good quality and for me is accurate enough but then I would not be running to gp to keep checking the reading is correct every day. BUT I do take with me when I have appointment and we check with both wrist and docs own! That the readings are correct.
