I planned on using this as a bedside lamp and planned to leave it plugged in all of the time, but the charging indicator light flashes red and green nom-stop. I wish I could disable that in the software.Edit: I have since opened the lamp and put black acrylic paint over the charging indicator. Enjoy the lamp much more. ### ⭐ Is a really beautiful concept but wouldn't recommend to buy. *by L***O on Reviewed in the United States on May 11, 2019* I bought two of these with the idea of using one and giving the other away. The concept is really neat and once your turn it on it looks absolutely beautiful, which made it hard for me to face the reality of the situation. I connected it to my Smart Life app and for a brief day or so it seemed to work just fine. When the battery died the first time and I recharged it, the app stopped recognizing the lamp so I had to remove it from my devices and create it again (no biggie, I thought, it must be something accidental) the second time the battery died I had to do it again and then again and then again until I decided to try the second one I had and see if maybe that one didn't have the same situation, but it just happened all over again. On top of that the battery life is really short (like 4 hours short) and the whole purpose of having a wireless lamp is not to have to recharge it everyday or have a wire connected to it all the time, which you'll have to do with this one. In summary I wouldn't recommend this purchase to anyone, it is absolutely beautiful but it needs some more development.
