They convert electric voltage from 12 V to 110 V **Q: Heating Pad (120v / 180w), cycles off with this device, is it faulty?** A: The problem you have is that Heating pads are heavy current device at 180w, your inverter is rated at 300w at 50% Duty cycle equivalent to 150W only. You will need at least a 500W inverter so it won't cut out at full power with your heating pad.
