I use it on my own (adult) nose, not a baby's. I've struggled with cracked, peeling skin at the base of my nostrils, and this product has worked better than anything else I have tried. I notice that it has very high quality ingredients and NO petrolatum (which is the main ingredient in most other products I have tried.) I have to assume that is part of the difference I am seeing between this and other products. Oddly, if I just search for "nose balm" Amazon shows me lots of other products, but not this one. I had to specifically search for 'OogieBear nose balm'.
