The US Small/Tag Size Medium is perfect! For those in similar sizing to me, I am 5’4”, less than 140, and bra size is 32DDD/34DD. I usually wear size Small, but sometimes have to go to Medium if the chest area has no give. Because of the string adjustment on the front (mind you, I have the draw strings pulled tight in the pictures), I can get the right support I was hoping for. The dress’ material is overall cotton minus the lace, which is not really scratchy, but I am sure with a wash, it will soften. Because it is cotton, I would be careful with the risk of size shrinking. Some reviews for this item have said washing it with cold water still had it shrink. However, I think a quick cold wash and using just an ivory soap bar (no detergent) will be just fine. I have washed shrinkable material that way and have not run into size shrinking issues after a quick cold hand wash with an ivory soap bar and then hanging the item to dry. Just handwash it for a few minutes or less in icy cold water with a bar of ivory soap, rinse the soap from the dress, and then after ringing out the water to your best ability, hang it to dry. I have not dried it in my dryer. I am sure if I did, even on gentle low heat, it very likely could cause the material to alter (shrink) in areas I don’t need it to. Yes, this means it is higher maintenance to care for if you do not already handwash and air dry any of your clothes, but it is worth it. Overall, lovely gown! ### ⭐ Shrinks too much after first wash!! *by A***A on August 23, 2020* This nightdress is gorgeous at first, but like other reviewers I found that after the first wash, it shrunk by about one third!! And that's a cold wash, with gentle detergent. This ruins the proportions of the dress and makes the lace pucker and the elastic sit on top of the bust rather than below. Buying a bigger size wouldn't fix this, as the torso length doesn't vary much between sizes. It's just unacceptable, and not worth the price. Also, the ribbons at the back are loosely woven and poorly attached, so inevitably come off.
