For over 100 year, the Colavolpe family in Calabria has been making Le Crocette - Little Crosses. Fresh figs are quartered to form a cross, stuffed with almonds, walnuts and orange peels then coated with their "secret" syrup whose recipe is guarded as a priceless treasure. The figs are slowly baked, cooled then hand packed in a beautiful box.

- Wonderful when served with a glass of Vin Santo or Prosecco
- Their "secret" ingredient is a special syrup whose recipe is guarded as a priceless treasure. Each of the 3 Colavolpe children have been given a third of the recipe. This insures the family working together to maintain the legendary tradition.
