The thing that holds it up in my wheelchair are the armrests and the back of the wheelchair. It is very fluffy and so comfortable though and works great for my wheelchair. My 92 year old, 110 pound mother tends to slide forward in the chair with this installed. The side cushions sort of slide out the sides under the arm rails. They likely would have worked better it they weren't so overstuffed. When the aids in her home washed it, it exploded polyester fluff out of just about every seam. The stuff went everywhere! My first thought was to stitch up the gaps, but there were just too many.
