That all changed as soon as I took the products out of the box. There’s a lovely solid weight to the stands. I’ve already used them twice for family evening meals and they’re a lot of fun and easy to use. Our family often uses taco boats for dinners so these make that sort of meal offering more cost effective (taco boats run about $3 per 8 piece, whereas I can use my stands for regular tortillas ($3 for 20 piece).The taco holders make it easy for my kids to stuff their own tacos with a healthy buffet of options, including grilled chicken, lettuce and cheese. Or easy for me to hand over a plate with the stand on it, and tacos I’ve already stuffed for them. And let me tell you, my kids loved them! And that’s not an overstatement. They actually said that a few times. They even got a “Pretty Cool” rating from my husband.Another benefit is that I could put them in the oven to melt the cheese on the second night I used them.
