How about a picture of the factory?** A: Yes I have flown with it and put it under the seat. **Q: How much weight can this backpack hold?** A: Maybe max 20 lbs? It's got good capacity, but not the strength of construction to withstand more. Not really meant for hauling gear... **Q: Is it just one big open space inside, or are there pouches/pockets?** A: Their are 2 pouches/pockets in the main area. Another thin zippered area in front of that with 2 mesh pockets. Another thin area in that vertical zipper on the front. Also, a mesh pocket on each side. **Q: How secure is backpack to prevent theft?** A: other than the obvious front middle zipper - I felt it was secure. There was an inner pocket that I put my passport, cards and cash in. You should note that I returned this backpack. I used it for a very strenuous hike and got very sweaty. In side the pack I carried two white shirts at the bottom of the main compartment. I had a yellow pack and the yellow die leached onto both shirts during my hike.
