There isn't anything wrong with the peanuts themselves - they're the highest quality I've found. The squirrels I feed are eating them often enough, though, that I feel more comfortable roasting them. Even if it does nothing for the squirrels, it gives me some peace of mind. **Q: Any chance you could offer a subscription service for these?** A: Unfortunately, this product doesn't qualify for subscription service yet. These 2 bags last us about 5 weeks. Peanuts are 99.999 in the Shell with no spoilage or rotten shells/ peanuts. We go through quite a few for the squirrels, Stellar J's, and chipmunks.
