The laces have a spring-loaded toggle to easily tighten/loosen - great idea! Undoing wet laces the normal way is nigh-on impossible. The laces are synthetic not cotton or such, so don't rot between wet/dry cycles.The shoes cling nicely without digging in - no socks needed for comfort. They dry incredibly quickly too - repeated bakings in the hot Mediterranean sun did them no harm at all and retained their colour (pink). These seem to be stitched/welded together with not a trace of glue in sight, other than the inner soles. 10/10 for making a basic item so well.No "breaking in" needed - they are supple right out of the box (bag actually). Well made, funky design, lightweight (adding almost nothing to the suitcase heft), robust and comfortable.I trudged maybe 2 miles to my favourite quiet beach location with a hefty backpack every day, and back again. So 14 days, 4 miles = 60+ miles including shops. Corrosive salt water, abrasive sand/rocks, bleaching hot sun, and there's nothing wrong with them.When these do eventually wear out I want exactly the same ones. But these ones are coming with me next year... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very light *by T***S on 9 January 2019* I got a pair for my husband in a size 9 (his shoe size is 9) and they fitted him perfectly. He's really pleased with them and will be using them on holiday soon. He likes the blue patterning on them and the fact that they are very light.I also got myself a pair in red size 3. I am a shoe size 4 but I found the size 4 I had ordered originally were far too big so I had to return them and reorder a size 3 and they fit perfectly.
