They keep oxygen out (as long as you properly close them) to keep our bananas from oxidizing. They also stay closed tightly in the freezer. Super easy to wash, and they come clean well. Gonna test them out for my sons lunch as well. I think they’d be awesome for packing snacks that might easily get smushed or broken! The owners even sent us a nice letter to follow up and make sure we got everything ok. We hand washed exactly as instructed and lost 2 bags of the order already before we even got to use them once. A bit disappointed, but I will reach out to the seller... so far they have been extremely responsive.
