The light squares are medium grey, the other squares are black , and dark charcoal. Not what I was expecting. Also I forgot how awful cheap microfiber feels. My pups don't mind so and I ended up buying Eddie Bauer plaid quilt. Blanket is soft and very warm as microfiber doesn't breath.
