I've read some other reviews where it's been said that the phone doesn't fit well in the case. As for the case I received, the phone fits very snugly and securely. There's no slippage or sliding at all. It's in there and it isn't going anywhere. Now, that makes it take a tad bit of effort to remove the phone from the case but that's no big deal at all and shouldn't cause anyone to get irritated about it. It's not going to take five minutes to get it out of there and you won't break a finger doing it. I gave the, "easy to remove" five stars anyway because to me this is really not problematic. I'd rather have it this way than to have things sliding around all over the place.On my case the push to talk button is exposed and the bottom button (volume down) is covered up. That's no big deal for me either because I never use push to talk and I had already disabled that feature in the phone settings. As far as the volume down button goes, I've simply done a, "set it and leave it" in the sound settings so I'm fine with the lower button being covered. I guess any and all of this is just a matter of personal preference but I'm more than happy with things the way they are concerning the case.The main thing I like is the quality of the kickstand. The piece that you use to adjust the kickstand leg to your desired position is made of metal. As a result, that little slide thingy is sturdy. It's a pretty heavy duty plastic leg too. It's not some thin and easily breakable plastic. The hinge for it is made of metal as well. I placed the whole shooting match at about a 40 degree angle on my desk. I can take a quick glance at things any time a call comes in. Works well for me.Also, the kickstand (when in use as a belt clip) is excellent. There's no slipping or movement when you adjust it to where you want it to be on your belt. The movement and, "clicks" of the adjustment feel and sound solid. It's not something that flops or slides around when you're changing your belt clip position.I flipped the phone around in the case where the display is facing backwards. That's how it's shown in the picture and that's how I'll use it when I'm storing the phone away for something like a long flight. I can already tell that it's going to work out fine and I'll be able to put it all away in an underseat bag and not have to worry about an already sturdy phone getting damaged in any way during travel.To sum it all up, I'd highly recommend buying this case. It doesn't make the phone too much wider, which along with the clip are pertinent to designing a case for this brick. You wouldn't think the XP5s would benefit from having a stand, but I find myself using it more often than not when I put the phone down anywhere. The stand keeps it from vibrating itself off a table.
