I think it is cutting but it doesn't stretch at all. The shirt was really long and really slim-fitting so it looked absolutely ridiculous on my husband who is 6-2 and has a pretty decent size beer belly. The shirt looks like it is a maternity shirt accentuating every bump in curve in your body. I'm giving it to Stars instead of one because the color was really vibrant and the print seemed okay. I bought the shirt over a year ago and my husband hasn't even worn it because frankly it looks ridiculous on him.
