Review: This was a huge hit with a 6 year old boy - This spyglass seems to be well made. Perfect size for a little guy. it has a good heft and it really does magnify objects in the distance...OK, not like you see in the movies, but it did magnify a bit and the focus was clear. The carrying case has a belt loop which is a tremendous plus. Gave this to my grandson for Christmas and his eyes lit up and in no time he had it on his belt and was running around with a pirate hat shouting Arrghhh. Highly recommend if you have an fledgling pirates at home.

This spyglass seems to be well made. Perfect size for a little guy. it has a good heft and it really does magnify objects in the distance...OK, not like you see in the movies, but it did magnify a bit and the focus was clear. This was a perfect addition for pirate party decoration. The case is really nice and it opens and telescopes like the real thing. You can look through it and it is a somewhat closer view. It is a very clear view which surprised me for what I expected to be just a decoration. Really cool.
