This is my honest review after using it for the past 4 years.It is kind of expensive for such a simple device but I guess it makes up for the price considering how long it has lasted me without breaking. It is small, compact, easy to use. It actually does a pretty close shave and my skin feels smooth and bare in the places I use it (usually just face). Does the job quickly too.It is easy to take apart and clean, has never cut/nicked/pinched my skin, and the batteries last a LONG time for me. The only issues I have with it are that it can't be used for precision shaving (like eyebrow shaping). Also, you twist the bottom to turn it on, but if you twist the bottom a little too much it will open the battery compartment. I am constantly opening the battery compartment on accident when I go to turn it on.Anyway, if you're looking for a hair trimmer, I would recommend this one just based on how long it has lasted me. I don’t have to pass it over my chin as many times as I did before and it gets ALL the furs out of there bc it’s more powered up. Now if you use crappy batteries, you may have a not so great experience like I did when I first used it. I’m much more happier now with it.I bought this for an upcoming trip that I was making bc I usually pluck my coarse chin hairs (PCOS) and when I don’t have time to rearrange my face back into a woman’s face .. I needed to do something else. This does work on coarser hair types however you may have to push it down a bit and pass it over the area more than once to get the tougher hairs. Now for thinner finer hair types this works great. My finer hairs were gone in one passing of the shaver so all in all it’s a good little purchase. Not the absolute best compared to a larger let’s say Men’s shaver but it’s does work and it’s convenient. I bought this product based on the great reviews and many customers that shared how they wish they had bought this sooner. And I am no different. I am wish that I had bought this years ago. It is compact, discreet and easy to use. While I use it almost daily on my whiskers it is still so much faster than plucking.The only reason for four stars intend of five has to do with the on/off function. If you watch a couple of the videos of ladies using the product, you can see what I am talking about. Turning the product off/on works by using the same cap that engages the battery. And a slight wrong turn will open the battery cavity every time. Certainly this is not a deal breaker, as the product is still fantastic. It just gets a little annoying that almost every time I wnd up opening the battery cavity: either I turn the wrong way when turning the product on exposing the battery or I turn it too far when turning it off still exposing the battery.
