I had to tweak my method in keeping it in place but it is by far the best in helping me on to the road of recovery. As there are 2 pairs of gel pads I recommend using the white pair with the toe loop UNDER your socks. Then after putting your socks on and leaving a couple of centimetres of length from your toes, put on the elasticated pair OVER your socks. At first it feels a little tight but the shape will soon contour snuggly for a nice fit. Then carefully place your feet in your shoes. I manage most days at work on my feet without having to repeat the procedure but accasionally I do. You may get a few laughs from relatives for having a foot that resembles a Camels but the pain relief is well worth it and I have had massive improvements to my condition. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Helpful *by H***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 October 2019* Having self-diagnosed metatarsal pain in my foot and having put up with it for four months I bought these based on the recommendations. I have recently done a lot of walking and found the brown cushioned slip on pads to be the most helpful when walking and they did decrease the pain substantially and deserve a four star rating. The reservation? They just don't seem like they are going to last very long but if I am wrong I will return and post an addendum.
