An easy, sexy read
If you're looking for a hot and steamy and a rather easy read, then Three Simple Rules delivers completely on each score. The story revolves around Evie (Evelyn) who works at a print agency and her rather formidable boss and taskmaster, Logan. At the beginning, Evie has made a rather grave mistake that looks like it will cost her her job. So she goes to Logan and strikes a deal with him that she'll come up with the money to rectify her mistake if he gives her until Monday. Logan reluctantly agrees. And Evie sets out to try and produce a rather large sum before Monday hits. How does she do it? By working for one night only at a sex club her best friend, Peyton is employed at. She needs top dollar and the night is a gamble on how much she can bring in but bring in she does. That would be the end of the story really if it wasn't for who shows up and pays for the night with her. Got to say, that whole scene was really rather sensuous with one hell of a twist. And where the ride goes from there is where it gets even hotter and steamier. To say that there's sex in this book would be an understatement. Although I really liked Evie and I absolutely adored Logan, I could've done with a little less sex - it's not that it isn't hot but there were a couple of components of the plot where I hoped for more conflict and thus more resolution and also I thought there would be a little more to the OW drama. That being said, given that this was told only from Evie's point of view, the author really made Logan - his actions, his luggage and his intentions very clear through how he acted and what he had to say. One gets so used to dual POV, but the author made you feel like you still got Logan's even though he didn't have his own chapters. There are a couple of minor shockers near the end and of course that moment where the two are tested and have to find a way back but I found them really minimal and cleaned up almost too easily. Even with that though, this was a satisfying read and full of sexual exploration for Evie. She goes from basically boyless with not much of a sex life to fully blooming and learning to let go and explore. And Logan.... ah, Dear Logan - he's definitely worthy of a book boyfriend!~~The only thing that irked me slightly and I have to deduct for was the final ending. I was very happy with the place Logan and Evie ended up in and all of that was cool. But I felt as though it should have ended with the couple. Unfortunately, it ends with her friend, Peyton coming over with a problem of her own and literally the last 3 pages are what the hell has happened and why is she blaming Logan. And to get the answer to that question, you've got to jump into the second book which revolves around Peyton and skim through to get the answer. That may not bother some but that's one of those little things that irks me. So because of that element, I'm going to deduct a star.Still a **** 4 star read if this is the type of book you're in the mood for. Steamy, sexy and a guilty pleasure.

Real or Fake…….Real, real, real. I loved this book!
My new favourite erotica author is back with the second book in the Blindfold series and let me tell you it’s a scorching read. Whoa baby it’s a hot one.I have inhaled this sucker twice since I received it and loved it both times. I can’t get enough of this authors writing. I NEED book three. I need it like I need air. So what if it’s still being written, gimme, gimme!!!This book picks up straight after the last book and immediately hooks you. There is a different tone to this book and for me that only makes it better. With Three Hard Lessons we get Payton’s story, yes threesome Payton. I really liked her in in Rules and fell in love with her in this book. The fact that she does the unexpected quite often is probably my favourite thing. And she does a lot of unexpected things in this book. Like fly to Japan with a former client for starters.Let’s introduce Dominic. He’s stuck in Japan for work and heading back after a break. In one night he is going to break most of Payton’s rules and prove to her that breaking them can be worth it. I loved Dom, absolutely loved him. When a referral from a friend leads to Dom dropping $30, 000 for time with Payton he never expected things to turn out as they did. The connection he makes to her is undeniable and when he ask the surprising question of going with him back to Japan, he never thought she would say yes. But that’s what happens. With their explosive chemistry Payton and Dominic burn up the sheets and just about every other available surface and quickly find themselves falling deeper than either planned. As things get hotter and they fall deeper than either had ever planned and Dominic continues to break all of Payton’s rules, reality drops in for a visit and threatens to tear them apart. Can Dominic win back the only woman who makes him happy or will Payton’s new job and distance come between them?“Did I ever tell you that you were worth the wait?” “What?” “A year without sex to get to you. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.”Keep an eye out for the scene between Payton and Dominic’s sister that he kind of busts in on, it had me cracking up. Talk about an eye opener for his poor sister! This book has gone straight to my keeper shelf and I will be shouting for everyone to read it. Yes it’s a smoking hot read, one I highly recommend if you like really good erotica. I can’t wait for the next book, bring it on.

Payton & Dom
MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS - Payton's story is very unexpected from a woman who works at a kink club & is completely unashamed of what she likes. When Logan & Evie bow out of a dinner date Payton goes to work...and so does Logan's friend Dom, the owner of Logan's apartment who works in Japan. You'll fall in love with Dom like I did, he is tough to resist. Not only is he hot but he is willing to pay a fortune to be with Payton, to kiss & touch her, to hold her hand - all things that Payton feels are off-limits. Dom is vulnerable & lonely & he has this cute way of asking if what is happening with Payton is real or fake. Payton knows she can't use Dom like she does other men & ends up getting fired for it. With nothing to hold her back she accepts Dom's offer to go to Japan, just for a few weeks, it would be ridiculous to not explore their new relationship. Evie warns Payton not to hurt Dom, that he's not like her & will become attached & even if she doesn't mean to she'll end up hurting Dom. Dom is open to exploring kink that he's never tried before but Payton drags her heels when Dom wants her to explore her more intimate side like spooning. Payton acts tough at first before even she has to admit, this thing with Dom, the sex is the best ever but it is way beyond sex. She can't stand the thought of going home without him. They have a falling out about something silly - in the end Payton realizes Dom would do anything to keep her in Japan with him. Dom loves to see Payton with other women & she gets to introduce Dom to things he's never tried before. Not as good as the first book but I was still surprised at how the fantastic kink doesn't overrule the love story!

I knew I was going to love Payton’s story because I loved her in the first one but this was amazing. Really enjoyed it.

Another good read
Another good read as part of Blindfold Club. Same characters and story line but not quite as filthy as before.

Sizzling
A hot romance with developing BDSM and some pretty sizzling sex. I liked the main characters and the underlying theme of True Love really is possible if you work at it when needed. A bit less sex and a bit more story would have gained the 5th star.

More porn than story.
Unlike book one which actually had a storyline and some character development , this book is much more about sex, in graphic detail. That's great, but can get a bit boring and repetitive so dropped a star from book one. Still worth the read though.
