Well it's basically a rice curl type chip with a crispy seaweed lining. And they're flavored (at least to my less subtle palate) with salt and jalapeno. I don't know what happened --I don't usually like spicy things. Once in the while I'll try a seaweed item when I'm in a store. I always hope that I'll find a way to incorporate it into my diet. This Chomperz snack is my first successful seaweed trial. They are light, crispy, and uber-flavorful. I adore them. The bags are small-ish...the face of a bag is about the size of my hand with my fingers spread out. The full weight of a bag is 1 ounce, and that is supposed to be 2 servings. That being said, the calorie count for the entire bag (2 servings) would be about 80 calories. Still, for a light snack in more ways than one, it is easy to eat your way through one bag, or for the truly voracious, many more. As such, the price of a bag is probably key. A case of 8 currently is $31.19, which makes them about $3.90 a bag. I think that's fair for a snack that I love, but that's me. These Chomperz are a game changer. It satiates my need for savory salty flavor and crunchy texture while being low in calories and full of nutrients. Goes perfect with my afternoon port with cheese and raw veggies.
