These bags have solved one of my biggest headaches which is when you purchase fruit or vegetables from the supermarket, you have to use one of those ultra-thin plastic bags that I can never open and then you have to tie the handles together to stop the contents falling out. Then when you get them home you have to rip the bag and then you can’t use them again.These mesh bags solve that problem, as they are easy to open and the integrated lockable draw stings ensures the contents do not fall out. When you get them home they are so easy to open and use again. The mesh bags seem strong and thoughtfully constructed and the fact that they are mesh means the fruit or vegetable contents can breath as well.My daughter has taken some of the smaller bags to store all her hair accessories and the smaller bags have the draw string along the longest side which means you don’t have to empty the contents of the back to get something at the bottom.Also there is a bonus foldable shopping bag in a little pouch which fits in your bag or pocket. This saves you money as we have to pay 5p for shopping bags now. What a nice alternative to those horrid plastic bags grocery and produce stands use. These sturdy bags are easy to use, clean and reuse. I noticed that veggies and fruit stay fresh longer than usual because these bags allow the food to breathe! So, I haven’t had to throw away anything since I bought them 2 weeks ago which is really great because I hate throwing away food! Everyone should get a set of mesh bags and start reducing the use of single-use baggies!They don’t only work for produce though. Theses bags are sturdier than the net bags I used previously and come in a good range of sizes. I keep empty ones in the tote bag hanging on the back of my cupboard door and when I go shopping I just take the tote bag and use whichever net bags I need for my purchases and use the tote bag to carry everything home. Fruit and veg keep longer in the bags, in or out of the fridge, and they wash well. I have also used the bags for other purposes like keeping small items together in a suitcase and protecting a delicate item in the washing machine.
