If you like quality and have "sensitive" taste buds you will be in for a super delicious treat if you get some of these. I just tried the Hint-o-Mint Newman's also and they are incredible too. I know it sounds ridiculous, how could crΓ¨me filled cookies be so good? It's about quality ingredients and quality manufacturing. They cost more than your typical brands but are worth every cent. I actually signed up for the Subscribe & Save for these. Never thought I'd do that, but you get a much better price and can cancel at any time. I won't be canceling these though, every six months I'll get my "fix" of these great cookies. These cookies make me feel good because of the taste, but you know I like the idea of the Newman brand to. It makes me feel good that a portion of the cost is going to charity. On the Hint-o-mint package it says they have given over 200 million to charity, that's something. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gluten haters - quit ruining the rating! They have the best cookie and cream. These are even better than Trader Joe's "Joe's O's" and I am a diehard Trader Joe's shopper.These gluten people have gotten a bit out of hand. The rating of a product should be on its quality, either short-term utility or long-term durability. The product clearly states that it contains wheat and nowhere does it state it is gluten-free. The problem with Amazon searches is that it will include customer-created tags in its search results, which can cause problems in situations like this. If you are one of the 1% of people who have Celiac's disease, then you should probably investigate the product fully, especially if you are one of those people where even "shared equipment" can cause extreme reactions.Newman's Organics is a great company - socially responsible, environmentally friendly, well-sourced ingredients, and gives profits back to the planet. The cream filling doesn't leave lard scum on the roof of your mouth - and the chocolate cookie tastes like chocolate. I'm surprised by other taste reviews but... oh well... the bummer is - I don't like Amazon's sell policy for food or items with expiration dates. Whether there's a policy or not, I'm not sure but I wish there was a place to check expirations. We bought the 12 pack of cookies mostly because we love them and the ones at the store have been downsized by 3 oz and the price is the same. Okay, so we bought these in September sometime and they all expire early December. So that means we'd have to basically eat a pack a week. I don't think we can do that. When we buy them in the store, the expiration date is a least a year from purchase date. Is there a way Amazon can let us check expiration dates or have it as part of the meta data so when ordering a bulk quantity, the consumer will be told that the expiration date is within three months, four months, five or whatever??? I think this can be done because we are told how many are left in the warehouse.
