I bought this book for 4 reasons. 1. my vertigo 2. my age, to combat "getting old" being proactive 3. for my senior clients 4. my grandson has autism and has sensory issues with balanceThis book did NOT disappoint. Everything in it is based on the training I received from National Academy of Sports medicine "but" in such simple terms any everyday senior can absorb. The exercises they have are "real world" everyday tasks.As a trainer I focus on Functional more than fitness. By that I mean I teach my clients exercises that will help them lift and carry groceries vs how many burpees they can do. This book fits perfect with things that help you live your best life vs society's only cross fit people are fit narrative. I did cross fit, but most of the population will never do that. They still need to be healthy.This book will slowly and safely and without intrusive workouts do exactly THAT! The illustrations make it easy to work on balance, and improvement comes fairly quickly. Several members of my Y class have purchased the book to add to the work we do together. Can't recommend more heartily! ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Too Easy for me *by I***9 on Reviewed in the United States on November 11, 2021* I found the exercises a bit too easy for me until about halfway through the book or more. There was a section at the end intended to help you practice falling the right way but I couldn't understand the directions. There was an illustration for each exercise. The exercises are meant to be done while you're doing everyday activities which is not what I want to do. A lot are intended to be done in the bathroom so there are exercises that have you put a foot up on the toilet seat for example. I tried one but wasn't completely comfortable doing it in the bathroom with the immovable objects and really hard surfaces (including the floor) so I don't think they're practical for someone who could easily fall.
