Review: Strong, all metal construction - These are a couple of mighty little shelves. I actually wanted them to help tame my collection of coffee mugs in my cupboard. They are the perfect size for that in that the mugs fit completely on the shelves, and they also fit completely underneath the shelves. I am using the shelves separately, but one does fit underneath the other, if that is what you need. They are very sturdy as they are all metal and the square bracket type legs make them very stable. I have to say that the packaging was an engineering marvel. Lol. Very efficiently packed in their very slim box. All parts were included and it was super easy to put together--or would have been had I even glanced at the directions. I ended up putting the shorter support bracket on what was meant to be the taller shelf. Easy enough to correct, but just a note to take a quick look at the directions. No fault of the manufacturer as every part is clearly labeled with a letter, but they can't help user error. These shelves are an incredible value and just what I was looking for to help me organize my cupboard. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

**Q: What type of metal are they made from?**
A: These SONGMICS shelves are made from carbon steel.

**Q: I brought couple of them and I am not able to install one of the leg. The screws that provided are simply pass through. Can any one has this issue?**
A: It must have been a defective part.  Mine went together fine. Maybe they can send you some new screws or a new leg. Whichever would rectify the situation.

**Q: If one shelf is smaller than the other but they're stacked, do the screw holes line up to secure? Is the stacking staggered (small/large)?**
A: The size difference is very small. The smaller shelf goes on top of the bigger one, and you can screw them together. You have to screw the top shelf's legs to the top of the bottom shelf. The connecting screws also hold the legs of the bottom shelf. They fit very well, and I had no issues screwing them together. I have two of them, and I completely love them.

**Q: Are the holes on the grating circular?**
A: Yes, they are.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Screws did not fit the small leg holes

I have a manual Torx head and also one for my electric drill so installation was not the problem. The problem was that the screws will only fit one turn into the small hole of the shelf legs and are too small for the large holes. Using the drill to try to push the screws through the small holes did not work. I had to drill the small holes of the legs to make them larger but then the screws wiggled because the hole were now just slightly too large and the legs were not steady. I did not have a drill bit that was between the two closest to the width of the screws. Lucky for me I found screws with nuts purchased or leftover, from who knows when, and they fit perfectly. So, as long as the brown shelf isn't flipped over, no one will know the the brown screws have shiny gold nuts underneath to steady the legs. I had to get creative as this was the only shelf with the right dimensions for my guest room TV and matched color of the furniture piece it sits on. The old cable box had a solid top and the TV and turntable could sit on top of it. The new cable box is much smaller and has vent holes on the top so I cannot stack them like the past or the unit will overheat. The shelves are great but there was no quality control to ensure the screws fit the small holes of the legs or, nuts were included to be able to secure the screws tightly. As long as you have the right tools and willing to get creative, they are a great buy.
