I put them on an Epiphone SG Special and I had to make new holes. **Q: Are these a 'perfect' match for a mid-90s mik epiphone les paul? if not, is it the screw holes or the shaft width that doesn't match (or both)?** A: I am not sure with the mid 90's. But I know that they didn't fit on my early 2000's LP. The screw holes wouldn't line up properly. **Q: The heading calls them three left side three right side (like a Les Paul headstock), the description calls at six in line, (strat) which is it?** A: The "3L3R" set that I received are those that you would install on A Les Paul style headstock, not the "six in line" configuration that is used on Strat or Tele guitars. Part of the ad's description is confusing. **Q: Are these real ivory? My fathers Gibson came with ivory keys and they need replacing.** A: They are not ivory but look identical. Based on the age of the Gibson, I doubt it came with locking tuners like these. I do recommend locking tuners.
