All fasteners are plastic and the screw head stripped almost immediately during assembly. It took a half hour for a 10 minute job and will probably take just as long to dis-assemble it.I am almost afraid to sit on it. I will buy a replacement that I can see in a store and then return this . The screws that bolt it in stripped immediately (cheap plastic) and I swear the lid is plastic over two pieces of cardboard. If I had paid $10 for this, I wouldn't have said anything - but close to $30 - I'm just paying for the embroidery I guess. Can't even sit on it for fear of it caving in. The colors are very pretty and the only reason ok n I give this product 2 stars. The seat is very uncomfortable. The vinyl sides where it meets on the seat pokes you the entire time you are sitting and the "cushion" sinks to the hard board underneath so it feels like you're sitting on a hard porcupine.
